So, when I came across this book *which, by the way, is now a movie with Lily Collins, and who doesn’t love Phil Collins (because that’s her daddy), so you have to love Lily too, or something… * I was excited to fall in love with love again with the novel Love, Rosie, by Cecelia Ahern.

It took awhile for me to get into this book. I liked the characters, but it reads from emails, online chat rooms, and letters. It’s a neat idea to format an entire book this way, but I felt distant from what was happening. I just didn’t completely connect with the characters and their stories.

I loved the idea of the story. I really did. Maybe it was because I had watched P.S. I Love You, also written by Cecelia Ahern *reminder to self: must read the book too* and fell in love with love and new beginnings. But that’s what actors are paid for, right? So, I’ll check out the movie for Love, Rosie, and give it another chance.
